I wrote a book that was published in December, 2023: “Courting Crow,” available on Lulu.com. Publishing shows I have evolved writing skills, a commitment to deadlines, and an amusing sense of self-importance. If you read it, you’ll know my aim is to serve a greater good. Sharing the epiphanies that come out of the mining operation that is my brain is a recent addition to my skill set.
Professionally, I’m a writer, editor and graphic designer with meticulous attention to detail and an ability to frame things with a positive vibe. Currently, I use Illustrator to convert flat architectural drawings to vector graphics. Recently, with an architect, I worked to design our home remodel, drawing edits and planning complex stairs. I have built or edited several websites as well.
Behind the scenes, I have a valuable ability to connect with people, meet them where they’re at, and to bridge different ways of thinking. My work communicating between artists and engineers helped evolve this skill, as well as with neurodivergent kids, hospice and the Special Olympics.
A lifelong athlete, I practice yoga and run when I can. I completed two marathons, a bike ride across America, and many dance shows.
